Jwala Home was started 1st September 1996 by our founder Mrs. Banumathi Appaji with 2 differently abled children. Now we have around 50 intellectually challenged girls with us in our family.
A day at Jwala starts with yoga. This is good for the children’s mental and physical wellbeing. Then, it is time for bathing and breakfast as part of the group (daily different children) go for a healthy walk in the surrounding area.
Donate: Your financial contribution, no matter how small, can have a huge impact on the lives of our girls. Just $65 can provide a full day’s worth of nutritious meals for all 50 of our residents.
